RightClickMate Privacy Policy

RightClickMate is a file-management productivity app for macOS and Windows. This Privacy Policy explains how RightClickMate handles information when you use the app.
Local processing
Section titled “Local processing”RightClickMate performs its file and folder operations on your device. Files, folders, images, filenames, paths, annotations, clipboard content, and app settings used by its productivity tools are not uploaded to the developer’s servers.
The app accesses only files, folders, and system features that you select or authorize. Changes made through RightClickMate are saved locally to the destinations you choose.
Information we collect
Section titled “Information we collect”RightClickMate does not require an account and does not use advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking. The developer does not collect the contents of the files and folders you process or your payment-card information.
If you voluntarily contact support or submit feedback, the developer receives the information you choose to provide. A feedback submission may also include technical information shown to you by the app, such as the app version and basic system information, to help diagnose the issue. Do not include confidential or sensitive content in feedback.
Purchases
Section titled “Purchases”In-app purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Apple handles billing and payment information. RightClickMate receives transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock purchased features. Apple’s handling of information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
External services
Section titled “External services”When you open a help, privacy, license, App Store, or other external link, your browser connects to the relevant website. That website may receive standard connection information, including your IP address and request metadata, under its own privacy policy.
Data sharing and retention
Section titled “Data sharing and retention”The developer does not sell your personal information. Information is shared only when you initiate a feature that uses Apple or an external service, when needed to respond to support you requested, or when required by law.
App settings and files created or modified by RightClickMate remain on your device. You can remove them using the app, Finder, File Explorer, or the operating system’s settings. Information sent voluntarily for support is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain support records, and meet legal obligations.
Children’s privacy
Section titled “Children’s privacy”RightClickMate is not directed to children, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
Section titled “Changes to this policy”This policy may be updated when RightClickMate’s features or legal obligations change. The current version and its effective date will be published on this page.
